A Minneapolis based freelance writer and tutor, Emilie has had a passion for writing since childhood. Over the years, she has honed her skills in the halls of academia and in the comfort of her own home.
She also has experience working as a peer tutor, which has helped her learn of her passion for teaching adult students who face extra barriers. She continues tutoring privately and is always happy to answer questions regarding college writing. She hopes to one day become a college professor, but in the meantime, she is seeking a student-support position on a college or university campus.
In addition to studying and tutoring, she continues to write and pursue publication. She has already been featured in Vine Leaves Literary Magazine, Haute Dish, HubPages, Maven Network, and as a part of BlogHer and PRI’s Women’s Lives Campaign.
